Women at the forefront - focus on womenpower

‍Is there a female manager revolution in Hungary? - asked Csaba Azurák, moderator of the panel discussion at the Connect Conference 2023 on 20 April.

How can women managers succeed in a male-dominated industry? Can women leaders be fashionable? Are there any prejudices? What are the hidden feminine qualities, the feminine values that are beneficial in leadership: multitasking, perseverance, love, leading by example, service, self-identity?

This needs to be talked about a lot, even through concrete examples of our own, participants suggested. It was also agreed that the situation has improved somewhat, that a revolution has started, i.e. more and more women are getting a role as leaders, as members of management teams.

The participants of the panel discussion are Gyöngyi Ferencz, audit partner and tax consultant of VGD Hungary Audit Kft.; Katalin Kiss, managing director of MAM-Hungária Kft.; Antónia Mészáros, managing director of UNICEF Hungary; and Gabriella Szécsi, managing director of BI-KA Logisztika Kft.
